Diva Doc Let’s Talk

Simplified Outreach & Growth Strategy

August–October 2026

What we will focus on

Guest outreach first

We will begin with people Dr. Thelma already knows, has contacted or has been introduced to.

New guest research second

Once current conversations are organised, we will approach carefully selected new guests with personalised invitations.

Sponsorship after approval

Sponsor outreach will begin only after one set of rates, audience figures and package details is confirmed.

Simple weekly updates

Dr. Thelma will receive a short update showing progress, replies, priorities and anything needing her decision.

What success means

By the end of October, the aim is to have:

  • One organised and up-to-date list of guests and sponsors.
  • Consistent, personalised guest outreach and respectful follow-ups.
  • More active guest conversations and confirmed interviews where invitees agree.
  • One approved sponsorship offer that is ready to present to suitable organisations.
  • Clear weekly reporting and a practical three-month review.

The three-month plan

PeriodMain focusExpected progress
1–14 AugustOrganise current guest conversations, check email history when access is available, and confirm which interviews or invitations are active.A reliable guest list and an urgent follow-up list.
15–31 AugustContinue warm introductions, follow up previous invitations and prepare the first small batch of new guest outreach.Replies, scheduling discussions and a September guest pipeline.
SeptemberContinue outreach, learn which topics and messages receive the strongest response, request referrals and prepare a sponsor shortlist.Improved outreach and a balanced list of possible guests and partners.
OctoberBegin sponsor or partnership outreach only if the materials are approved, continue guest work and prepare the three-month review.A clearer commercial pipeline and recommendations for the next period.

First guest priorities

The first priority is to understand what has already happened before sending new messages.

  1. Confirm the status of the OB/GYN and plastic-surgeon interviews.
  2. Check whether Dr. Vivian Asamoah replied to the invitation already sent.
  3. Locate and continue the warm introduction to Senator Angela Alsobrooks’ team.
  4. Research Dr. Shirlene Obuobi and prepare a suitable interview angle.
  5. Build a small fibroid-health guest group that includes realistic prospects and a separate aspirational tier.

How each guest will be handled

  • Check: the person’s current role, relevance, contact details and previous conversation.
  • Prepare: one clear interview topic that fits both the guest and the podcast audience.
  • Personalise: the invitation so it does not feel copied or generic.
  • Follow up: politely and with enough time between messages.
  • Track: the last message, reply, next action and due date.

Sponsorship and partnerships

The existing sponsorship files contain different rates, currencies, packages and audience figures. To avoid sending incorrect information, no sponsorship offer should be sent until Dr. Thelma approves one current version.

Before sponsor outreach begins, Dr. Thelma will confirm:

  • Which audience figures are current and approved.
  • Which currency and prices should be used.
  • What each package includes and what the production team can deliver.
  • Whether discounts or special terms are allowed and who can approve them.
  • Which types of sponsors and locations should be prioritised.

Weekly update to Dr. Thelma

The weekly update will be brief and easy to review. It will include:

  • What was completed during the week.
  • Who replied, who is interested and which interviews are being discussed or confirmed.
  • Sponsor or partnership progress, once that work is approved.
  • Any problems or missing information.
  • Decisions needed from Dr. Thelma.
  • The top priorities for the following week.

Decisions needed from Dr. Thelma

To keep the work moving smoothly, Bea needs Dr. Thelma to confirm:

  • The preferred day, time and format for the weekly update.
  • Email access and whether Bea may only draft messages or may also send routine follow-ups after approval.
  • The three most important guest opportunities for August.
  • The confirmed status and availability for the upcoming medical interviews.
  • The approved sponsorship figures, rates, packages, currency and deliverables.
  • Whether any special payment for securing a particular guest is separate from the current agreement, and what would count as success.

Immediate next steps

While waiting for email access: Continue organising the tracker and preparing research notes. Do not send duplicate outreach.
After access is received: Review active email threads and confirm replies, dates, commitments and missing information.
Next: Prepare the first approved replies and follow-ups for current contacts.
Then: Research a small batch of five to ten suitable new guests and prepare one personalised angle for each.
End of the week: Send Dr. Thelma a short update showing movement, blockers and the next priorities.
